However, to manage the situation the government may impose a huge tax for citizens to pay for the free education of those who can not afford it.

While free education has benefits it also has disadvantages to education and to the society. When there is free education that means it will attract a huge number of pupils and/or students, moreover, it may lead to reduced education quality.

Overcrowding at school

When there is offer of free education this will attract a huge number of pupils / students in classes. The big number of students in classes will make the teacher fail to attend all students correctly and give them the right treatment they need in class. Overcrowding tends to reduce the quality of education in the community and thus this may lead into failure to achieving the goals of preparing qualified human resources.
